Meet the Sacramento Team Behind Lodgewick ADU Sacramento
A lodge is a small house on a larger property. That’s exactly what an ADU is, and it’s exactly what we build. The Sacramento crew at Lodgewick is a tight group of four, led by owner Russ Delmar. We come from framing, finish carpentry, and project management backgrounds, but what keeps us on the same page is The Kingswell Way: say the price before the work, show up in the window given, leave the place cleaner than found, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Every one of us has worked on garage conversions, detached ADUs, and home additions across Sacramento neighborhoods from East Sacramento to Land Park to Natomas. We know what the city’s setback rules require and what the summer heat does to a build schedule. We also answer our phones. A live person picks up, day or night, not a voicemail tree.
Our People

Russ Delmar, Owner
Russ founded Lodgewick ADU Sacramento in 2010, which makes this the longest-running ADU-focused build team he’s led in the region. He’s the one who walks your lot first, and he’ll tell you straight that a detached two-bedroom ADU in Sacramento will run you about $180,000 to $240,000 depending on foundation work and finishes. No dancing around it. He’s spent fifteen years pricing accessory dwelling units, garage conversions, and home additions, and he writes the number down before anything starts. That’s his rule, and it applies to every project. Russ is background-checked, state-licensed, and insured, and he still swings a hammer when a job needs it. On weekends you’ll find him at the American River Parkway, usually with a fishing rod and no particular plan.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus handles the structural side of our builds: foundations, framing, and anything involving a load-bearing wall in a garage conversion. He’s been with Lodgewick Sacramento for nine years, and before that he spent six years framing custom homes in Folsom and El Dorado Hills. Marcus is certified in prefab ADU installation for Abodu, Cover, and Plant Prefab units, which matters when a homeowner wants a modular accessory dwelling unit set and finished in weeks rather than months. He’s the one who catches the details that don’t show up on plans, like a sewer cleanout sitting exactly where the new door was supposed to go. Marcus is a detail guy off the clock too: he rebuilds vintage motorcycles in his garage, one carburetor at a time.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena runs finish work and interior build-out for our ADUs and garage conversions. She started in cabinetry and trim carpentry, then moved into full ADU installation because she liked seeing a project through from bare studs to move-in day. She’s our lead on James Hardie siding and exterior finish systems, and she’s the reason our Livermore and Roseville projects end up with clean lines and tight corners. Elena also manages the job site cleanup standard that The Kingswell Guarantee requires. If you’ve ever had a contractor leave drywall dust in your living room for a week, you’ll appreciate her. She keeps a sketchbook in her truck and draws every project when it’s done.
Danny K., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the phone and the person who makes sure the schedule actually works. He joined Lodgewick Sacramento three years ago after running dispatch for a local plumbing company, which means he’s heard every question a Sacramento homeowner can ask and none of them rattle him. Danny coordinates all written estimates, permit paperwork with the city of Sacramento, and the defined arrival windows we commit to on every job. He’s the reason you’ll never get a call saying the crew is “maybe coming sometime tomorrow.” When he’s not answering questions about JADUs and setback requirements, Danny coaches youth soccer in Oak Park and takes the losses harder than the kids do.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Lodgewick ADU location is independently owned and operated, which is how we like it. But the standard doesn’t change from one location to the next. The Kingswell Way is the operating system for every project: a written price before any work starts, no exceptions, and a clean job site at the end of every day. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every build and every repair we do in Sacramento. If the work isn’t right, we come back and make it right within the guarantee period, and that commitment is in writing on every project. We don’t rely on “trust us.” We rely on the paper. And we put a live person on the phone around the clock, because questions about a $200,000 ADU don’t only happen between nine and five.
